Cats can come into heat every few weeks. During this heat cycle your cat can become pregnant. Spaying your female eliminates the possibility of pregnancy and the dangers associated with giving birth because those organs are removed. 

 A main benefit to neutering a male cat is to help prevent pet overpopulation. A neutered male cat cannot reproduce. 

 Additional benefits of cat neutering include reduction in unwanted behaviors and certain health risks. Cat neutering often reduces roaming, aggression or fighting with other cats and urine marking behaviors.  A neutered male cat also has no risk of developing testicular cancer and greatly lowers the chances of suffering with prostatitis, prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer

The Code of Virginia requires that all dogs receive rabies vaccine prior to attaining 4 months of age (§ 3.2-6521).   3 year vaccines are available and  requires proof of previous rabies vaccine.

Protection against canine distemper virus, adenovirus, canine parainfluenza virus and canine parvovirus. 

This Vaccine helps to ward off a frequent illness tat is known as kennel cough.  Kennel cough is easily spread from one dog to another and is highly contagious.

This is one of the two core vaccines for cats.  We strongly recommend core vaccines for all cats, regardless of whether they spend most of their time indoors or outdoors.
